My name is Alyssa Dewey. I play soccer and golf and used to play basketball. I like to go outdoors a lot even if it means snowboarding or just going hiking with friends. I have a twin sister her name is Mackenzie dewey and I have a younger sister Hannah Dewey. I didn't get into golf until my freshman year so I've only been playing for 2 years. I decided I wanted to play golf when I was 13 but I never really had the time because I was so busy with club soccer. When I was younger I played basically every sport you could imagine, so whenever my dad found time he would help me with my swing and take me out to play 9, I might not have been good like my dad but I really enjoyed watching him and how he knew so much. I'm glad I choose to play golf because even though it still is a very commpetitve sport, I find it a good balance between when I played basketball and play soccer. Golf is different because you don't look at the same gym or field and kick a ball into the net or throw a play into the hoop. Golf is a little different every course is set up different and you have to somehow find a small ball in thousands of yards of field and put it into a little cup. I find golf a good outside walk that helps keeps me away from everything. You can't be on your phone so I don't have to worry about anyone, I'm just outside by myself playing the course and the ball. Golf isn't an easy sport that everyone knows how to play, however, Im excited to see where this game takes me!
