Sarah Chaffee '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Sarah Chaffee and I am very excited to be exploring college golf opportunities since this sport is my lifelong passion. I got hooked on golf at the age of twelve, and ever since then, I have not been able to stop going to the course whenever I can to work to improve my game. I believe I have the skill, athletic ability, and character to be successful at a higher level of the sport.

My biggest strengths in golf include my touch around the green, my ability to perform well under pressure, and my willingness to try new things to improve my game. I have significantly improved all aspects of my game over the course of my golf career, but I particularly excel at executing shots 100 yards and in. In addition, I possess the ability to keep a level head even in very high-pressure situations; I have found that I play the best when there is something on the line. Finally, I am willing to take suggestions to improve my game; although my swing is great right now, I will listen to my coaches to change and make enhancements to it.

My natural athletic ability has allowed me to succeed not only in golf but in other sports as well. I have played basketball since I was four and have attained accomplishments in the sport, such as breaking the school record for three-pointers in a season with 60. I have played horseshoes competitively from a young age as well, and have since won world championships for four consecutive years.

Finally, my dedication to both athletics and academics will allow me to thrive in a higher-education environment. I have been able to maintain a 3.8 GPA throughout my high school career through hard work and persistence, and I will be able to take that same academic prowess to university.
