Madeline Wimmer '17 Recruiting Profile

When I was 12 years old my life took an interesting turn when I made the decision to start playing golf. I began receiving golf lessons from GolfTec with a PGA golf instructor who, to this day, still coaches me.

My high school only offers a boys golf team. With my hard work and dedication, I have been given the opportunity to play with a talented and strong team. I look forward to the next steps in playing competitive golf. Playing frequently and competing still provides me great motivation to continue to improve and strive to meet my goal of playing college golf.

Although golf is very important for my future, academics are just as important. As a career, I would like to teach math so a good quality education in mathematics and statistics is very important to me. I am very motivated to keep playing and am continuing the hard work of practicing and playing all year round.
