As a dedicated student-athlete, I look forward to challenging myself both academically and athletically as I continue to pursue my goals. As a junior golfer, I have learned that putting in great effort often yields the greatest achievements. I started playing golf when I was five years old, and began tournament golf at the age of eight. Golf has allowed me to improve as an athlete and to meet new people that share their love of the game as much as I do. Continuing to play golf competitively at the next level is a goal that I have had for as long as I can remember. Through golf, I have learned the value of patience, dedication, focus, and determination. I look forward to joining a new golf family where I can make an impact and bring positive energy to the team. I'm a natural leader that can help a team reach their full potential.
My academic future is important as well. I plan to major in a science related field. I have been on high honors for two years and have been inducted into the National Honor Society. Golf, rigorous academics, and other extracurricular activities including high school basketball and seven years of club soccer have taught me the importance of finding balance and using time management skills in order to be successful on and off the course.
Outside of golf, I enjoy reading, being with friends, downhill skiing, and learning new things about myself and the people around me. I am a curious person who is always looking for new things to discover. I look forward to the opportunities and challenges moving forward with my golf and academic journey.
