Hi, my name is Elsie Mehew

I’m currently a freshman (class of 2028) at Atascadero high school, where I maintain a GPA of 3.9. I’m a level 9 gymnast at Central Coast Gymnastics. My favorite event is bars and I love singing Justin Bieber during practice. My experiences in gymnastics have taught me a strong work ethic, resilience, and a commitment to excellence—qualities that extend into my academic pursuits. Balancing gymnastics training with my studies has taught me the importance of time management and discipline. As I look toward college, I am excited to further my education in an environment that encourages both personal and mental growth. My passion for gymnastics has inspired me to pursue a major in kinesiology and sports medicine. I am interested in understanding the biomechanics of movement and the physiological aspects of sports performance. I am excited about the opportunity to further my education in a field that combines my love for gymnastics.
