As the youngest of four children, I needed to take an unconventional road to get where I am as a gymnast. My story summed up, I started when I was 6 when I saw a flyer from Redwood Empire Gymnastics in our mailbox. Tumblebugs led me to XCEL in 2017, where I learned a lot. In 2021, I joined the DP program at Redwood Empire Gymnastics in Petaluma, California. In 2022, I competed levels 4-8 in a single season and finished 1st in State and 2nd in Regionals for my age division at level 8. I was honored to compete for the State Team at the USAG Regionals 2022, finishing 7th overall for all age divisions. I hope my story and journey with gymnastics can inspire others! I had a couple of injuries during my level 9 season, which opened my world of sports doctors and physical therapists. I would love to one day be a sports physical therapist and work with athletes to get them to where they want to be in their sport. 2024 is my first season competing at level 10, and I am really looking forward to competing with the new skills I have achieved.
