Keira McNally '26 Recruiting Profile

I have been doing gymnastics since I was five and have loved it ever since. It has always been my dream to do college gymnastics. Throughout my gymnastics career of ten years now, I have had multiple coaches who didn’t believe in me and didn’t put a lot of effort into coaching me. I wasn’t ready to give up on my goal of college gymnastics, so I have had to put in countless extra hours and eventually switch to my current gym, Accel Gymnastics, in order to get the coaching I needed. All of this has taught me the importance of hard work and how to push myself. I always try my best to be positive and supportive toward my teammates and encourage them to do their best.

I am also very motivated when it comes to school. I ended both semesters of my freshman year (last year) with a 4.0 GPA while doing up to 20 hours of gymnastics a week. I also plan on taking two advanced classes next year while maintaining a 4.0. This year, I will be starting my first official year as a part of the National Charity League (NCL) Edgewood Chapter. So far, I have really enjoyed getting the opportunities to help those in need.
