Izzie Brookins '26 Recruiting Profile

Greetings, my name is Isabella Brookins, and I have been doing acrobatic gymnastics for 5 years now and formerly did artistic gymnastics for 10. Over the years I have been a State, Regional, and National Champion in various acrobatic levels, and previously competed in Ibague, Colombia at the Pan American Championships where I earned 3 gold medals for Team USA. I have maintained a 4.0+ GPA while practicing over 20+ hours a week and volunteering when I can. When describing myself, I would say that I am very disciplined, have a strong work ethic, and have a burning desire to succeed and achieve my goals. This desire is so great, that I have committed to moving from NorCal to SoCal in order to further my acrobatic career and succeed in making it to the Acrobatic World Championships in 2026. I am always open to critiques and corrections as I believe they continue to shape me into a better gymnast and will shine through on the competition floor. I constantly push not only myself, but others as well to give it their all at practice. As an experienced gymnast, I enjoy teaching younger athletes, sharing techniques, and guiding them through tough practices. I believe that a powerful team has a strong sense of community and thrives off of shared support. My aspiration is to compete at the collegiate level while studying Kinesiology and Biology and use my experience in this sport to help elevate my team to the next level.
