Kaylee Wahl '26 Recruiting Profile

I believe I am a good candidate because I have an excellent work ethic, am a perfectionist and love a challenge. As far as my athletic abilities in gymnastics, my background is brief. Ever since I could walk I have been constantly on the move. As I got older I started teaching myself how to do handstands and cartwheels to begin. In June of 2022 I started a recreational gymnastics class in level one as a fun activity to do in the evenings. Within one week the coach stated that I needed to be in a higher level class. I was immediatly moved up. I wasn't in level 3 recreational very long before that coach stated I should try out for the gymnastics team. In August of 2022 I made the Xcel gymnastics team. I obtained the skills required to move up to the gold level and competed gold my first year. I medaled in every competition and was a State Champion in floor. As far as academics, I was home schooled my 7th and 8th grade years. I returned to public school in 9th grade and made the honor roll both semesters my freshman year. I am currently a Sophomore and have straight A's.
