Vicki Zhou '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am Vicki Zhou (uncommitted), a 5'1 Level 9 gymnast from New York City. I am a junior, at Queens Metropolitan High School, Class of 2025. Being a part of a college gymnastics team is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I would absolutely love to experience. I have been a part of the cross country, track, and gymnastics teams, but gymnastics is by far my favorite sport. It taught me more than just the sport; it taught me teamwork, leadership, respect, compassion, and discipline within myself. I love cheering for and encouraging all of my teammates throughout their routines and practices. I enjoy  helping lead warm-ups and practices throughout events to see everyone succeed and do better.

In school, I strived to push myself to be better and study hard to maintain my GPA. I am in the Honors Society, Math and Science Research Team, Ap Capstone, Ap Research, AP Lang, and College now Intro to Comp and Reading the biography classes.

My ideal college would be an environment where I can push myself both in the classroom and in the gym, where I have opportunities to better myself and strive for success in both academics and gymnastics.
