My name is Carter Nelson and I’m a Senior at South Anchorage High School. I started playing hockey as a U14 and I fell in love with the sport. I am currently playing for two teams, the Alaska All Stars 19AA Girls and the South/Bartlett Girls High School team. I have maintained a 3.6 GPA through my high school career where I have taken honors and AP classes. I like to challenge myself academically and with my full schedule I have learned good time management. As I continue my academic and athletic journey I hope to find a college with a passionate and collaborative academic environment and where I can continue to play a sport that has helped shape me into the person I am today.
