Winning Pacific Districts and having the opportunity to attend the USA Hockey National Tournament my first year on a Tier 1 team is definitely a highlight in my hockey career. I was fortunate to be given the chance to be a part of a team with an amazing group of girls. My teammates helped shape me as a person and helped make me a better hockey player by showing me the value of teamwork.
I feel that playing at a AAA level has prepared me to balance my workload between work, school, games, and travel. I have maintained a 3.4 GPA throughout my Freshman, Sophomore, and junior year at Oakmont Highschool as well as inspire charter school where I was previously and am currently enrolled in AP and Honors courses. As I a team member of the 2018-2019 19U AAA San Jose Jr. Sharks we have attend a number of tournaments including Two Nations Detroit, Two Nations Toronto, Can Am Madison, and CCM World Invite Detroit. I attended the 2019 CAHA select camp and was selected as third alternate, I attended the NCD girls development camp in Massachusetts in 2018 and will be returning in 2019, and I will also be competing in the Beantown Classic. While I am committed and focused on my personal development as a hockey player, leader and role model. My love and respect for the sport goes beyond playing competitively. I am equally committed to sharing my knowledge and time to help others. I have been a hockey instructor for the youth development program at Skatetown Ice Arena since 2017. As I pursue and achieve my academic and athletic goals, I am committed to being a strong and positive contributor to my team, coaches, and community.
