Personal Statement
I am a young and new hockey player but I want to learn! I have a deep passion for the sport and hope to one day play at a college level. I am a great teammate (i’ve been told) and when given opportunities on the ice I take them. My current team is an all boys team and I am the only female, because of this they treat me differently and never pass to me. I received an invite to play on our local travel team, the Fresno Pigeons, and am now a member of this team. I enjoy playing forward, but want to learn to play Defense. I have been attending many hockey camps for skills and skating trying to work my way up and earn a place on a team!
