I consider myself a very driven individual who always completes everything to the best of my ablility. I challenge myself acedemically by taking lots of challenging courses and being very involved in my school. I am always trying to better myself and my community by being apart of student council and starting my schools environmental club. I plan to study Marine Biology at school that will challenge me acedemically and push me to be the best athlete I can be. Growing up in Hawaii and moving to Colorado my freshman year I was already behind in my hockey career. Due to my coachablity and go-getter attitude I went from a 14uB team to a 19uAA team in just one summer. My strengths as a hockey player include my positioning, hockey IQ, and positive attitude. My hockey IQ and positioning has earned me a place on power play and penalty kill as well as a starter for my 22-23 season. due to my positivity and my love for my teammates I earned myself a role as an assistant captain on Colorado 14ers 19uAA (22-23) as well as in 20-21 on Colorado Rampage 14uB. I have been describes as the "glue" for my team and my love for the sport has only been amplified by my amazing teammates. that being said a positive team culture is very important to me. As I continue my hockey career I plan to continue to get faster as well as providing an encouraging enviorment for all my teammates.
