After watching all three videos on the recruiting process and how it works, I am aware that I've started my journey very late, but I still believe that I may have a chance to one day play Dlll Womens Ice Hockey. Coming into high school I was not an athlete, so I did not know how intense and serious the recruiting process is. I lack in experience and I didn't start playing until my Freshman year of high school, but my coach, parents, and I have all agreed that I have truly found my hidden talent. Many people don't believe me when I say that I have only been playing for about four years. I am the fastest skater on both my high school and travel team. I also became captain of my high school team as a Junior and will continue next year as a Senior. My goals for the summer are to maintain my current work outs, keep excelling in all areas (skating, shooting, puck handling), and push myself even harder and out of my comfort zone, to learn and master all areas to my best ability. Since the day I fell in love with ice hockey, I could not imagine myself not playing after high school, and that is why one of my biggest dreams is to, one day, play at the college level.
