Maddy Pope (NCAA ID # 2212740779)
Hello, my name is Maddy Pope and I am pursuing an opportunity to play NCAA women’s ice hockey. I just finished my sophomore season playing goalie for Kimball Union Academy in Meriden, New Hampshire. This year I earned my 1,000th career varsity save and finished the season at .944 with a 2.37 GAA. For the next two months, I will be playing varsity softball at Kimball Union while also finalizing my summer ice hockey training schedule (listed in my NCSA events section). This coming fall of 2024, I will be attending the Taft School in Watertown, Connecticut and playing ice hockey for coach Mackenzie Keith. I am very excited about this opportunity!
I live and breathe hockey and believe that I would be a great addition to your roster. I am a hard worker, a supportive teammate, and a self-motivated honor roll student. Most importantly, I'm a kind, compassionate person and want to succeed in everything that I do and understand the work ethic needed to make that happen. I would like to continue my hockey career at a university program that provides an opportunity to train year-round on and off the ice. I will be fully devoted to helping your program become a better team. Thank you for your consideration!
