My hockey goals are to play at the highest level of my ability. I enjoy being challenged by playing with and against those with the same desire to play at their best. I feel that I understand the game well. I'm vocal with my teammates to help guide them when to cover open opponents, or to let them know if they are screening me. when I'm on the ice, I take my job very seriously. I'm not afraid to come out and play a puck when it's appropriate to do so. I'm not afraid to dive into a scrum in front of my net to cover the puck. I'm not afraid to challenge a skater on a breakaway to cut down their angle. I'm not afraid to move opponents out of my home... my crease. All of these things would make me an asset to my team. I'm also aware of when I make mistakes and always strive to make myself a better player and teammate. In the future, I would love to get involved at the youth hockey level. I feel that proper goalie training is important. We are not just targets for skaters to shoot at. A "nice save" comment is a major confidence booster. I would love to be a role model to young goalies
