When it became clear that I wanted to pursue a college hockey career, I dove into the sport headfirst. Finding every opportunity to get on the ice, I quickly discovered that I excelled in the skills and understanding required to be successful. My 9 years as a competitive gymnast helped provide me with very important life skills: accepting criticism; positive and constructive, leadership, strong work ethic, and continuous education. These skills are highly transferable in life and are a great path to success both on and off the ice.
While hockey is an important part of my life, education remains my priority. I will continue my educational path during my high school years through taking AP and Honors courses. I plan to direct my studies toward Engineering Sciences.
As I continue to pursue my athletic and educational goals, I am committed to being a strong contributor and leader for my team, and someone my coaches, teachers, and teammates can respect.
