2022 SpotlightPersonal Statement
I have been playing hockey for around 14 years now and plan to continue competing in college. For the past couple of years, I have been the starting goalie on the 19u Central Illinois Revolution. For the years prior, I have competed as a starting goalie on a 14u BYHI boys team as well as a first-year 16u on a 16u BYHI Elite boys team. I am a good candidate because I have played at a high level with boys and girls and have been dedicated to hockey for the past 14 years. I also juggle running varsity track and cross country all four years in high school. Lastly, I have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout high school while taking many AP and dual credit courses.
