My name is Morgan Urso and I’ve been playing hockey since I was in fifth grade. It was the first sport to challenge me and bring me pure joy. I’ve played at both the AA and AAA level and was a 14u State Champion with St Jude. While I play center now, I‘ve played wing and defense.
While suffering from anxiety and depression as a high school freshman, hockey was the outlet that kept me getting up in the morning. My mental health struggles have led me to become an advocate and my foundation raises money to provide mental health training for schools and sports’ programs. When I’m not on the ice, I maintain a 3.6 grade point average and like to workout.
