Micaiah Tinklenberg '21 Recruiting Profile

It was my sister who first got me into hockey. At first, I thought it wasn't for me, but I was surprised to see how passionate I became about the game. I love everything about hockey. My teammates, the skating, the adrenaline, the physicality. I love how mad I get when we lose, and I love how excited I become when we do good. I've always put my absolute all into every game. My passion for the game is what drives me to work hard every day. Hockey is a team sport, so adjusting yourself to work with certain teammates is key. Understanding your peer's strengths and weaknesses is what makes the game. I've played hockey for 6 years now, and I've grown from someone who can barely do crossovers. Playing hockey is one of the best decisions I've ever made, so I want to continue that into college. In college, I hope to grow as a player and as a teammate. I hope to improve my skills and gain experience.
