Molly McElhaney '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, My name is Molly McElhaney.  I am currently completing my Freshman year, and I am Home Schooled.  I reside in Florence Kentucky.  My goal is to pursue my dream of playing hockey at the collegiate level after I finish high school. 

I fell in love with the game of hockey at a young age and began playing at the age of 10.  As you can imagine, living in the Commonwealth of Kentucky does not make it easy for a young girl to find teams to play with.  I played on Co-ed travel teams and recently made a AAA, girls T1 team out of Cleveland.  I recognize the sacrifices parents make to help their children play this awesome sport.   

You will find that I am a hard working and ultimate teammate.  I enjoy studying and learning the game of hockey.

I feel fortunate that I am homeschooled.  This allows me to focus on my studies and learn at an excelled pace as well as affording flexibility.  I am committed to excellence in and out of the classroom.

 I highly look forward to where my love of the game of hockey may take me, and I can't wait to either speak or meeting with you soon.
