Mia Estrada '23 Recruiting Profile

Playing ice hockey in college has been a dream of mine since I first began skating. One of my main collegiate goals is to be able to experience playing hockey at the Division 1 level. Something that I always apply to my life is understanding that people may have more talent than others, or more skill, but there are no excuses for anybody to ever out work you. I am a coachable player who gives their all, not only on the ice, but off the ice to my teammates, coaches, family, and friends. I know that although life may bring you many obstacles, nothing can be too great to overcome. I believe hard work is needed in all aspects of life, whether it is on the ice, in the classroom, or at home. I work for a fairly high GPA and will continue to work for good grades. I  would love to attend a college that fits me, that is a place with the highest collegiate level that I could play at, and somewhere where I can continue pushing myself to be the best I can be in every way possible.
