Personal Statement
My name is Tori Horne and I am a senior at Auburn High School in Auburn, MA. I started playing hockey at age 6 after watching both my older brother and father play the game we all love. I skated as a defenseman until the age of 10 when I filled in for an injured goalie, I spent 2 seasons playing both positions and ultimately transitioned to goalie full time. In 8th grade I started playing for my high school varsity team and learned a lot from my amazing teammates, I was selected as a team captain for my junior and senior years and enjoy passing my knowledge on to my younger teammates
I also have been playing on the girls varsity LAX team for the past 3 season and varsity field hockey for 1 season. Playing multiple sports has helped me grow as an person, athlete & teammate. In the classroom and athletics, I strive to be the best I can be and will continue to do so through my college years.
