Riley Fogarty '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello College Hockey Coaches.  

I want to play women's hockey at the college level.  Life has been a little crazy for me the last couple of years with all that is going on in the world and because of that I was not sure I wanted to attend college right out of high school.  Now that I've made the decision to pursue this goal of playing college hockey, I am excited for the road ahead.  I am confident I can play at the college level and believe I would be a good addition to your team.  I've been playing hockey since I was 6 years old.  I've played on multiple Minnesota Select Teams.  I've tried out and made the Minnesota CCM High Performance Team.  I have eclipsed 100 points in my high school varsity career.   I am a good athlete, hardworking, and driven to succeed.  I am not perfect, I can be overly stubborn and I hate to lose.  I am a leader and have been named captain of my high school hockey team the last two seasons and also the captain of my high school tennis team.  I am a good student and was awarded academic all state this season and am a member of the National Honor Society.  I haven't given a ton of thought into what college I'd like to attend and I'm not sure what area of study I want to focus on.  I'm open to going out of the state of Minnesota but would be interested in opportunities here in the state of hockey as well.  The east coast sounds like a long ways from home but I think that could be an exciting adventure attending college out there.    I would love to meet or speak with you if you are looking for a speedy winger, who prides herself on her forechecking and will fight for her team and the W from the drop of the puck.  Please let me know if you have any interest in me.  Thank you for your consideration.
