I love to be active and involved in all kinds of sports. I played baseball and traveling soccer in elementary and early middle school. Hockey is my favorite sport, though. I have been playing hockey since I was 5 years old. I love being part of a team and working together with others. I played for the Gentry Galaxy U16 Tier 1 team for the 2019-2020 season (9th grade). I was the leading goal scorer for my team, with 32 goals and 14 assists in 36 games. I played for the Gentry Galaxy U14 Tier 1 team for the 2018-2019 season (8th grade) and lead the team in goals and assists, with 31 goals and 20 assists in 34 games. I played for MN Dynamo Black at the USA Hockey Girls High School Nationals in Cleveland, Ohio March 28-31, 2019. My team finished in 2nd place and played in the tournament with only 6 skaters. I finished first on the team in total goals (and 3rd overall among all tournament players) and first on the team in total points (and 3rd overall among all tournament players). My team was referred to at the tournament and in press clippings as the "Iron 7", since we had such a short bench! I played for Minnehaha United High School Varsity Girls Hockey in 2017-2018 (7th grade) and finished with 4 goals and 7 assists in 26 games, and received a varsity letter in hockey that year.
Now, in addition to hockey, I run cross-country (varsity letter winner in both 8th and 9th grade) and track (varsity letter winnner in 8th grade-my 9th grade season was canceled due to COVID). I live one a lake, so I love to wakeboard and slalom waterski, and completed the course work to have my boat license. I have a Border Collie/Aussie named Evy who loves to go running with me. I am an excellent student: I have been on the 'A Honor Roll' for the last four years. My current GPA is 4.21, and I took Honors classes this past year in math, science, and English. I am a certified soccer referee through the Minnesota State Referee Committee, completing the training to referee soccer games in my area.
