Katie Flynn '19 Recruiting Profile

    I have had many influences in my life, the biggest being from my parents. They have taught me to be a leader and have excellent character, by always staying humble and kind. Another major influence in my life is from my friends, many of them have the same values and goals as me, one being to play hockey at the next level. I became interested in hockey when I attended a University of Minnesota Golden Gopher hockey game with my grandpa, from then on I was fascinated with the sport and still can't get enough of it. Through hockey I have learned to be patient, and I have learned that I am persistent and tenacious when need be. 

    My academic goals for high school are to finish my senior year with at least a 3.9 GPA and receive no lower that a 33 on my ACT. My collegiate academic goals are to obtain a degree in Nursing or Biology and potentially further my education with a doctorate degree in Orthopedics.
