I have been skating since the age of 3 and quickly developed a passion and love for both hockey and ringette. I started playing all-girls ringette at the age of 5, and added hockey at the all-boys Atom level playing Competitive A. In my first year of Bantom all-female hockey, I made the AAA Rockets team while continuing to play ringette in the first half of the season. In 2021, as a first year, I made the U16 NB AA Provincial Ringette team as well as the AAA Rockets as a 2nd year. Having had to choose between the 2 competitive teams, I chose to go to the nationals with ringette and we won Silver at the Canadian national ringette championships in Calgary, AB in April 2022. During the 2021-22 season, I also played AAA high school female hockey as a first year at Mathieu-Martin in Dieppe, NB and although we were the top team to beat, we placed third in the finals. Throughout the years I have also played spring hockey or ringette, and attended several training camps at Andrews Hockey School in PEI where I won the "Chad" award for the hardest working hockey player. I also accomplished "Silver Blade" very quickly for my skating abilities at Andrews Hockey School. Hockey and ringette have both been my entire focus throughout my youth. I work hard, I am a team player, I continue to grow and improve, and I dream of continuing to play hockey at the college or university level and maybe even have an opportunity to represent Canada.
As I enter Grade 10 in Sept. 2022, I am still uncertain as to my career path, although I do think of following a career in criminology, the police or military academy. I would be happy to attend college in Canada or the US.
