I love the game of ice hockey and play every chance I can get. I have been working extremely hard in hopes of taking my game to the next level. I am self-motivated and extremely determined. I have a great work ethic and am very persistent both on and off the ice. While I may not score the most goals (though I have increased the number of goals scored), I do contribute when I am on the ice by my fore-checking and back-checking. I never give up.
I work hard in the classroom as well and have a 6.16 GPA from Medway HS, prior to transferring to Proctor Academy. I am in either Honors or AP classes. I have already passed the AP US History exam.
When not working on my hockey or school work I help in a day care or help coach ice hockey. I also spend time volunteering with veterans. One of my favorite events to help with is the Challenged Athlete's Foundation's Buddy Bowl - it is a Flag Football Tournament that raises money for soldiers and first responders to get back on the recreation field of their choosing. It is a lot of fun and it great to meet these wounded warriors and hear their stories. It inspires me to do my best in everything that I do.
I believe with my work ethic, determination, integrity, faith, skill and coachability, I could be an asset to any program.
