I have always loved the game of soccer. Ever since I was 5 years old, I have been battling my older brother and once I got to the age where goalies were introduced into the game I was so angry because I loved scoring. Playing soccer in college has always been a dream and having the chance to be a part of a team where everyone loves soccer would be unbelievable.
On and off the field, I have always had extremely high expectations for myself that pushed me to work my absolute hardest. I, not only work hard for myself, but also for my team and for the school that I would be representing. When one of my teammates makes a mistake on the field, I always try to build them up and tell them to focus on their next shot or touch. I try to do this as much as I can because when I make a mistake, it helps when my teammates tell me to focus on the next opportunity.
Doing well in school is extremely important to me. I was on Headmaster’s List and Effort Honor roll all three terms my freshman year. Last year I took two honors classes and I am taking two this year. My GPA from my freshman year was a 4.7.
Taking soccer to the next level has always been my dream, and I believe that my love for soccer and determination to play in college would make me a strong asset to any team.
