I've been skating and playing ice hockey since the age of 2. My father built an outdoor rink in my backyard each winter and also built a larger outdoor rink in the center of our town. I've always loved skating and started playing organized ice hockey at the age of 9 for a U14 Girls Program. I've also play other sports like varsity swimming & track; as well as recreational golf, soccer, flag football and baseball.
My coaches have always complimented my competitiveness, leadership, skating skills and ability to shoot the puck. I try very hard to be a great teammate and am very coach-able. One of my goals is to be named as a Captain by my senior year.
My long term aspirations are to play Women's Ice Hockey in college, possibly play professionally all while pursuing my career interests as a Nurse or Veterinarian.
