Personal Statement
I love to compete, I love changing the world's view on women capabilities in the sport era. I just love doing what I love, the past 2 years of ice hockey meant so much to me! I felt sad when I had to leave the program due to a small concussion, but now I'm healthy enough to join the sport again. I still keep in contact with my coaches and they encourage me to join Ice Hockey in college! I'm bilateral deaf but I never saw it as an obstacle, it makes me unique and gives me pride when I wear my cochlear implants. I feel like I would be a good candidate because I never give up and always smile no matter if I win or lose. The moment I got on that ice...I never felt more alive.
