My goal is to play Women's Ice Hockey at a college that plays at a highly competitive level. I work at my sport every day, both on and off the ice. I continue to learn how to take better care of my body through nutrition and exercise. I know that by doing this it will help me become a better player on the ice. I started skating at age 6, and playing ice hockey at age 9. I am an excellent skater and I have a very hard shot from the point. My team (Buffalo Bisons) is nationally ranked every year and is always competing for a national championship. We play a very difficult schedule against the best Canadian teams to help us prepare for USA Nationals. I love the sport of hockey and want to continue to play it as long as possible. My goal is to play college hockey and to earn a degree in nutritional sciences, or as a physicians assistant. Hockey will always be a part of my life.
