Madison Thompson '22 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing hockey for 14 years. I am captain of the team this year. During games, practices, and drylands I really motivate my teammates. I've helped them improve their shots and have gotten them physically stronger for this season. I mostly play defense, but if the coaches need me somewhere else I am able to do my job at the position they put me at. I am a strong and fast skater and I have a good hockey sense. I am a fast learner and improve every practice. I volunteer coach for the ages 4-10. This year I made the All State Team and participated in the USA Hockey National with Team North Dakota. I practice with a higher level than I play at. I practice with the Dakota College at Bottineau LadyJacks. I strive to do better every shift and practicing at that higher level helped me develop as a player.
