My name is Kyla Fleming, I am an ‘07 from Cobourg Ontario. My grad year is 2026 and I am currently an honor roll student in my academics @ Cobourg Collegiate Institute. I have recently decided I will be taking a gap year as my educational and hockey decisions have not been made yet. I have a goal of playing NCAA D1 hockey and would love opportunity to showcase my hockey skills and introduce myself to you. This upcoming season I will be returning to playing for the the Toronto U22 Junior Aeros program. I lead this team in points this past season as a rookie. I currently play a mix of Centre/LW and I am very confident in my offensive abilities and mindset about the game. Growing up I played boys AA with the Cobourg Nighthawks association, before moving to the Clarington Flames U15 2 years ago and being named the captain of that team. I was also selected to attend the Ontario Games in Mississauga, ON.
My Mothers family is from Alderville First Nation North of Cobourg and with my Indigenous heritage I competed at the National Aboriginal Hockey Championsips for team Ontario. We took home gold this May in Grande Prairie, AB. Myself got 10 points with 3 goals and 7 assists. while ensuring I showcase myself and make an educated decision on my post-secondary school choice for both academic and hockey opportunities.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks
Kyla Fleming #3
