Avery Robinson '24 Recruiting Profile

I am Avery Robinson and I live in Sarnia Ontario and currently play on the Bluewater Hawks U22 Elite. I am always excited for hockey,  ready to learn, and practice hard.  I respond well to the coaching staff feedback and am able to accept constructive criticism to learn how to improve my skills and game IQ.  I believe my commitment,  skating speed,  and hockey sense is what makes me the player I am today.  My strengths as a teammate include my coachable attitude and friendly demeanor.  I always try to stay positive and keep my head up encouraging my teammates to do the same when we are facing a strong competitor. I wouldn't be the hockey player I am without my previous coaches, trainers, and teammates along the way. 

Academically, I excel in all classes and have consistently been on the honour roll. I easily communicate with teachers as well as classmates to make everyone feel included. I have been told by parents, teachers, coaches, and peers that I am dedicated to my task, always positive no matter the situation, have a smile on my face all the time, friendly to everyone, and hardworking when it comes to the things I love most!  

My goal is to play the highest level and most competitive hockey that I am capable of playing ! Along with hockey, I play a high level of soccer and I have been the Captain for multiple years playing a leadership role. I also run cross country and track for school.  This spring I was the first student in 20 years from my highschool to qualify for 5 events at OFSAA . 

I have taken an interest in Teaching, Kinesiology, health sciences, sport science as well as practice of Chiropractor! I would love to go away for school and accomplish what I have dreamt of for years.
