My name is Brenna McNamara. I am a 2006 goalie for the U22 AA North York Storm in the PWHL. I am a student athlete at The Hill Academy. My goal is to play for Team Canada and be starting goaltender when I attend RIT in the fall of 2024.
I am coachable, competitive, passionate, a leader and a hard-worker. I am competitive in the classroom and on the ice. This is shown in my training on the ice and in the gym week to week and my commitment working with my goalie coaches to show technical improvement. Secondly, I am passionate in what I do. I have played hockey since I was 5 years old and have always loved the game. Also, I show that I am a leader because I work hard, and others follow. The Hill Academy has given me the opportunity to grow as a leader. I show these skills each day at the rink with my team. I am passionate about my teammates and support them on and off the ice. Lastly, I am a hard-worker. When I am given a task or a drill to do, I put 100% of my effort into it. I have big dreams in hockey.
