Personal Statement

My name is Kathryn Kotchish and I am a 5th form (2026) at The Hill School. I am interested in playing ice hockey at a highly competitive collegiate level. I have not yet chosen a major to pursue, but am actively considering sports medicine as a future career.

I am dedicated in all facets of my life, as I contribute to my teams, The Hill School and the East Coast Valkyries 19u AAA. I also excel in school with a GPA of 4.0 and I help coach youth hockey in my free time.

I have a strong desire to continue playing ice hockey for as long as I am able. I am confident that I will be able to continue excelling in my studies, as well as ice hockey, throughout my college career, and am hopeful to find the best culture fit that allows me to do so.
