Antonia Valeri '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Antonia Valeri and I am a Junior at Montour High School.  I am interested in playing ice hockey at a collegiate level.  I have not yet chosen a major to pursue, but I am considering Athletic Training and Graphic Design.  

I am dedicated in all facets of my life, whether it be leading my ice hockey teams (19U AA Armstong Arrows and PIHL Girls Varsity Team West), doing well in school with a GPA of 3.5, or helping coach younger kids on the ice (Arctic Foxes, Montour Middle school and Developmental).  

I am a strong defenseman who plays smart in the defensive zone and is not afraid to rush the puck if the opportunity arises. My coaches describe me as having a high hockey IQ, enabling me to see the ice as a whole and get the puck to where it needs to be. I am always willing to do whatever it takes to protect my team. 

I have a strong desire to continue playing ice hockey at a highly competitive level for as long as I am able.  I am confident that I will be able to continue excelling in my studies, as well as ice hockey, throughout my college career, and am hopeful to find the best culture fit that allows me to do so.
