Nova Taintor '26 Recruiting Profile

I am an 2026 ice hockey forward and my goal is to play NCAA hockey. Along with my ice hockey career, I have also been playing roller derby since I was 9 years old and compete on the 3x national champion team as well as the Team USA national juniors team. In both of my sports, which I play at a high competitive level, I believe that no matter how good you are you can always be better. I believe that you can't always be the greatest player in the room but you can always be the hardest worker.

If you ask my derby or hockey coaches, they would say that I am extremely passionate about the game and I always push myself to be my best no matter the situation. I've never been on the ice and found myself wishing I was anywhere else, the ice is where I'm the absolute happiest and I love the game of hockey and improving my skills is my favorite thing to do.

I put 100% into every practice and every game, and on days where I have no hockey, I make time to train otherwise. My parents support my hockey career, but the motivation to do everything all comes from me.
