Giana Sasselli '24 Recruiting Profile

When I am older, I want to be a Dermatologist, I have dreamed of being a doctor for as long as I can remember. I am currently enrolled in the sports medicine classes and HOSA which are two medical programs, that my high school offers to get a better sense of what the medical field will be like. I am also a member of the Friend of Rachel’s Club, where we make it our mission to spread kindness, and Trail Blazers where we play sports with special needs students. I am currently enrolled in all Ap and honors classes and have a cumulative GPA of 4.1. I have been playing ice hockey since 2011; 5 years old. I am currently in the ice 5-6 times a week and play for the Steel City Selects U16, I have been playing for the Steel City Selects program for 5 years, and last year won bronze at nationals with them . In the summer I love to run and shoot pucks, and play club in-line hockey.
