I have been playing hockey for 6 years. Since I have stepped on the ice, I have aspired to play at collegiate level. I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my life in such a positive way.
I have descent stick handling skills, mental toughness, and a fairly amount of good hockey IQ. I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and always willing to learn new skills. I love being able to help younger girls achieve at the things I once wanted an older girl to teach me. I strive to be one of the most determined, hard working player you’ll find.
I work year round on hockey skills, participating in Team South Dakota, Midwest Storm, River Kings, and filling in for some pick up teams. I also do many camps to work on the game not only physically but mentally. I attend many types of off ice training. (agility, lifting, film, and flexibility) which all contributes to my athleticism.
In the classroom, I study and maintain a high GPA. I want to attend a college where I can push myself to all the options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers, in my community and make my parents unbelievably proud.
