My name is Vianca Ortega and i play for the Dallas stars girls teir I I am a strong believer of hockey is for everyone. I help in a program of blind hockey in my nearby roller rink. The blue mooses have many visually impaired skaters so helping them play hockey is something I am proud of. I truly believe that to have a good team, the team must consist of players who are willing to push one another and continue to help one another. So as this being said I am always one to push and help my teammates when and where ever they need me. Another thing about me is that although I may not be the best player on my team I still push and continue to work to eventually be the best. I have the drive to continue to grow. On top of all of this I am doing well in school and staying in shape with some school sports. I am taking AP and honors classes to help me be fully ready for college. I am looking for a college where I can study and continue to play hockey. I am looking into a business major but would like to keep my options open for more oportunites and too see what I enjoy most. There is still alot of room to grow so I will continue and work to be the best player I can be.
