The first hockey game I can remember watching was when I was three years old. I aspired to play hockey from then on. At the age of twelve I took one hour of an ice skating lesson, afterward, the instructor told me I was a natural talent. I joined a co-ed house team for my first season. As a freshman, I was a starting varsity forward in addition to playing for Utah's high school Select team. I plan on spending the rest of my time in high school playing for the Utah Lady Grizzlies or a high school team. If I’m not on the ice or at school then I’m training my mind and body off the ice. I'm always looking for opportunities to better myself not only as a player, but a person in general. I owe a great deal of my success to my teammates and coaches who have always pushed me beyond my comfort levels to make me a better player. People describe me as bubbly, driven, funny, passionate, and encouraging. I believe my personality and skills would be an essential asset to any college team.
