My name is Alayna Kunshier and I aspire to be a college athlete. I am a good candidate for your team because I am a very avid listener, I like to face challenges that are brought to my attention, and I am a very responsible and hard working athlete. What makes me different is that I work at something until I have completed and fulfilled that task. I am a player with grit and a player that knows how to compete. In high school I have played for two different schools due to moving. I started varsity my freshman and sophomore year for the Hastings Raiders, which is Hastings High School in Hastings MN. I started varsity my junior year for the Hudson Raiders, which is Hudson Senior High School in Hudson WI. My junior year at Hudson for hockey we went to state and placed second. I received All State Tournament Team 2 and All Conference Honorable Mention this past season. My team also placed first in our conference as well as our section. I finished the season with a .903 save percentage and a 1.36 goals against average. I am very flexible and can adapt very easily to other environments. I am also a very successful student alongside being an athlete. I held a 3.3 GPA this past school year (junior year) while taking AP and honors classes. I scored a 24 on my first ACT and plan to take it again this summer (2019).
