My name is Sydney Raaths and I am from Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. I recently completed my Junior year at Edgewood High School with a 4.03 GPA. Along with playing hockey, I am a 2 year varsity tennis player. Being a leader on and off the ice is something I take great pride in, as well as always working hard to achieve my goals.
Playing hockey has influenced my life in a variety of ways. I have learned the value of hard work as well as the importance of setting goals and doing what is necessary to achieve them. I have academic goals as well as athletic goals set for my future that are very important to me.
College athletics have been a dream of mine, both of my parents played Division 1 sports. My dad played baseball, and my mom played tennis. I want to follow in their footsteps and have great experiences in college athletics.
I will continue my journey improving as a student and athlete in order to achieve my goals.
