Hi, my name is Tove Joline Christensen. I attend Wyoming Connections Academy. I live with my parents Norene and Andy Christensen, and have two older sisters who no longer live with me. I began my hockey career later, around the age of 9. I have played on the Lady Moose 19u varsity team since I joined, and continue to play for that team We've won B state in 2018, and became state champions in our 2019-2020 and 2020-21 season. I've also played on Team Wyoming Girls High School team for the past 4 years, winning the championship in the MLK tournament in San Jose, and making nationals in 2021.
Outside of hockey, I participated in different sports and activities:
Lacrosse- 5 seasons.
Girl Scouts- 8 years.
GS Gold award- Rebuilt a school in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria and supplied them with new books and supplies.
Currently working on ground school for my pilots license.
Volunteer coach for international camp (Planet Hockey).
Volunteer coach for Robby Glance.
I have started to learn about automobiles and mechanical engines.
Anyways, I am a very coachable athlete and I am willing to learn and do what I need to be successful. I work as hard off ice as I do on ice and try to improve myself in every way. Coaches have commented on how I have improved every time I get on the ice, and maintain good character and focus on and off the ice. I try to be a safe place for my teammates, and a resource on and off the ice. I have helped teammates with school, career, and give those a place to go if they need help with anything. I love being the positive energy on the team and spreading it to my teammates.
Thank you for viewing my profile!
