I am a well rounded athlete as I explored diving, swimming, gymnastics, ice skating, soccer, and dance before trying wrestling. Other sports such as these were fun to me, but wrestling really captured my heart. This is what caused me to begin wrestling as a freshman. The second I began, I was engaged and excited to work hard toward my goals. Wrestling was a sport like no other, it has taught me strength and perseverance. I aspire to wrestle at the collegiate level, and will continue to work hard toward that goal in the years to come.
In school, I am a hardworking student who likes to succeed. I am driven to achieve academic goals, and maintain a very high GPA. I am a great multi- tasker, I am very good at keeping up with school work while also continuing to work hard toward my athletic goals.
Outside of school, I participate in 4H, coach wrestling and gymnastics, and tutor younger students. I always try my best to encourage younger kids to stay active and work hard in school, so that they can achieve any goal they want. I hope that if I stick to that motto, it will work for me as well.
Continuing my academic and athletic careers in college is very important to me, and I can't wait to see where they bring me!
