I began playing lacrosse in the 6th grade. At first, it was a way to spend time with my friends with no thoughts of playing after high school. I have fallen in love with the sport and now would like to continue my lacrosse career in college. In the last two years, I have started a regimented workout routine to improve my speed, flexibility and endurance as an investment in a possible college career. I think the structure of the sport, along with the camaraderie of a team, would be a great way to have a well-rounded college career.
