Rylee Dockery '21 Recruiting Profile

I play for my club teams, Vortex Elite and C2, my school team Chandler Huskies, and the Arizona Women's National Team which involves me in playing year-round. I hope to be offered a full ride or as close to that as possible scholarship for my grades and my lacrosse skills. I work incredibly hard both on the field and off, my current GPA is 4.0+ (I am taking all honors classes and intend to for the rest of high school) and my class rank is 1 of 514 unweighted and 6 of 514 weighted.  I received the state of Arizona 2019 Defender of the Year award and was chosen first team All-State and an All-Star.  I was also chosen as my high school team MVP and Defender of the Year 2019 (and team captain).  In 2018, I was also team Defender of the Year and I have played varsity lacrosse since 9th grade (earned 1st Team All State honors and All-Star in 9th) and was a two time Defender of the Year in 7th/8th grade playing junior varsity.  I'm in National Honor Society and also president of Model United Nations Club and as well as president of the French Club with intentions of staying in leadership positions in these clubs throughout my high school career. A few of my strengths include being very determined, easily coachable, and I'm team orientated. I love playing, it's one of my passions and I love the competition of the sport. What makes me different is that I always look forward to pregame rituals and getting my team psyched for the upcoming game with my high energy level and my positive spirit. I'm a team leader and as captain, every time a goal is scored, I always run down to the opposite end of the field to congratulate my teammates and I believe this shows the gratitude I have for my team.
